نویسندگان
چکیده
Objectives: The objective of the study is to determine relationships between ramus height and occlusal planes (OPs) in Han Chinese individuals with normal occlusion. Materials Methods: Two hundred four participants occlusion were included their cephalograms analyzed. (Ar-Go), Frankfort horizontal plane-posterior OP (FH-POP), FH-anterior (FH-AOP) FH-OP, anterior posterior cranial base length, SNA, SNB, ANB, Frankfort-mandibular plane angle, SN-MP, jaw mandibular body length measured on subjects’ cephalograms. Pearson correlation coefficients calculated among continuous variables. was considered as dependent variable OPs independent Age, sex, other cephalometric parameters possible confounding factors. Univariate multivariate analyses performed whether significant. Results: FH-POP FH-OP moderately associated height, while FH-AOP showed a weak association ( P < 0.001). After adjusting age FH-POP, FH-AOP, significant negative associations (β = −0.36, −0.28, −0.37, respectively, flattened increased. all factors, height. increased by 0.19 mm/1° flattening FHPOP −0.19, 0.002). Conclusion: adjust age, increase results should be treated caution since it’s cross-sectional study.
